Our thoughts and prayers to the victims and families/friends of those children killed by another mentally side tracked kid. Hindsight is 20/20 for the kids who knew of his compulsion to weapons and all the tidbits of info being released. And of course before any facts are released the left wants a total ban on "assault weapons". Latest info is he purchased his gun following all laws and procedures. What would have stopped him was someone coming forward with a warning to officials. Another case of kid who needed help. Lorin

I want to thank all of my friends on here for their prayers and support for my older brother Tom. He fought a great battle with the brain tumors and even though given little chance of living a year he kept going until yesterday evening when he passed. The cancer won. Tom went into the battle at 240 and last week was below 130. On Monday when wife and I visited him and his wife Barb we were saddened as he appeared to have entered a coma. His eyes were partially open, but eyelids never blinked and his eyes were rock steady. Before we left I asked the Lord to come get his son as I didn't want him to suffer any more. Tom was a veteran of the US Army having served his two years mostly in Berlin during the build up. That was while the service there was still part of the Army of Occupation. After his Army time Tom became a Policeman and served with the Columbus OH PD for over 40 years. Even after retirement he continued to work with numerous Police Departments in Oh as a FBI Certified Hand Writing expert. Tom visited me both at McGuire and at Tyndall and was amazed at the beauty of the F-106 and I gave him hands on tour of them. Again thanks to all who help me through this time. Lorin

Our Prayers are with you and the family and friends of Scott. One thing you can't make is Old Friends. He suffers from the same cancer that took my brother Tom, just in a different portion of brain.
